1. There is no doubt that the articles were very interesting and at the same time thought provoking also. It gave me enough reason to ponder about the intent of creating the statue of liberty and the other artifacts like poems. The statue of liberty is actually connected with the symbolic representation of the coming to America and the idea of freedom as indicated also by the Emma Lazarus poem. I used to initially believe that the statue of liberty was created to recognize freedom but then I got to know that it carries the idea of immigration.
